Mother and child

Mom and I had a fight, or should I say I misunderstanding. But it was I who provoked her to get mad at me. The reason? Never mind. But it’s not that it was something that is not maddening, I just think that she overreacted. Well, I don’t know, but at least in my point of view. But it’s ok. We’ll be ok in a couple of days.

Who wouldn’t say that Christmas vacation could be so boring? Well for me, as a pastime, I just read back issues of reader’s digest. And all I do is read the humor page, challenge page and the fillers, because I really don’t have time to read all the extra long articles and cover stories.

I have a confession to make: are you guys familiar about the fact that reader’s digest pays $100 for contributions for their sections in Life’s Like That, Laughter the Best Medicine, As Kids See It, and interesting fillers for and pages? Well to tell the truth, it’s my dream to have my own article/anecdote to be printed in the pages of that digest magazine anytime soon. I have to reasons for that: One for the money, and two for the little bit of fame (what a nice way for your name to be written on a publication, huh?). Actually, 4 years ago I already e-mailed them with a joke but unfortunately it wasn’t published. I guess my joke wasn’t funny at all – and I even forgot what my joke is all about, haha! But I won’t give up until my contribution is published. And if that happens, I would be terribly happy!!!
